country clubbin it
so tonite was so much fun and definitely made me so thankful i chose eastern. what other program would take grads to the local country club just to teach them proper ettiquite for the many socials and dinners we will have in our lifetimes?! it was an excellent fifty course meal (just kiddin...but it was great surf-n-turf)...i do have to admit, though, i am still a bit buzzed from the champagne and TWO wines we were served. crazy. AND we all looked hot all decked out in our finest. so much fun, and it only makes me even more excited for hollywood, when i can break out my beautiful gown from jen and ryan's wedding and wow em :-) 54 days!!
work was crazy today; lots of judicials and such...but a good day. i have tons to do this weekend; my ultimate goal is to get all my rough drafts done and my thesis question and methodology set, or at least a throrough outline! and my research articles ordered. i'm gonna be bustin some ass over the next month or so--these deadlines are creeping up fast and with all the travelling i'll be doing in november, i have to get a move on everything.
k, i have to get cleaning--my apartment has been neglected in an awful way this week...yikes...maybe the past two weeks...
anyways, more later...i mean, this IS my fall break and i'm stuck here when i SHOULD be in alma. oh well, i'm not really bitter, i have lots to do anyways...
