Thank you - that was just what I needed now. My friend Nancy passed away tonight - brain cancer - and kittens, well kittens are full of life and joy.

What an adorable kitten! How old? And where did you get him/her/it? That's got to be the youngest kitten I've ever seen adopted.

That's a long story, and if you search back in my LJ you can find more detail to the answers. Short version: about 5 or 6 weeks old, found in the shrubs by my driveway screaming his little lungs out two weeks ago with no mamma cat (or litter mates) in sight. Young enough that he hasn't figured out eating yet -- hence the pics with the bottle.

Since then, I've spotted an adult cat with markings similar to his hanging out in the neighborhood once or twice. Mamma cat? Maybe.
