There's No Place Like Home :)

Aaaahhhh back in da Ridge!! Hehe, home for spring break now and man does it feel good. Not much has changed aesthetically, home is still home. Spent the last few days with the grandparents in Queens, seeing family members and hanging out with them for a few days. Today went into the city and visited with Garance. She has a cool dorm and some crazy roommates! We ventured down to Canal street and had the best day just trudging along looking at bags and jewelry we don't need but bought anyway. I got a necklace with a shell, some cute sparkly earrings, and a beautiful silver ring with a star ruby in it, which is a gorgeous stone. I really love it! G bought two rings and a very cool bag which will hopefully make in appearance in some livejournal pictures sooner or later! Had a really great time just shopping and oogling really adorable Hello Kitty stuff in Chinatown. Ah gotta love shopping! Awesome day :)

Tomorrow is breakfast with mommy, then a little last minute completely procrastinated emergency shopping then back down to the city for dinner with CJ. A little hanging out followed by what promises to be a delicious dinner at some uptown Chinese restaurant with a stupid name that I can never remember. Was a Christmas present and has been in the works for awhile ... soooooo excited!!! Going to go in and pretend we are grown-ups for awhile :) AKA wear shoes that hurt our feet so we look respectable and don't get put near the kitchen or the door while we eat. Yay for nights out on the town!! And for dragging Christmas out to last three months ;)

Um, rest of the week just being with the family. Lots of stuff been going on while I've been gone and I'm really excited to just spend some time with everyone, who are thankfully hanging in there despite it all. Aunt Debbi & Aunt Kathleen are coming up on Friday and going to a hockey game with them, the Ninas, and the brothers. Will see JR when he gets home tomorrow night and hopefully see Jo and Jessy Tuesday or Wednesday :) Also spending some quality time with the pug, of course. So excited :) :) :) So glad to be home.
