I'm so tired. Like, all the time. I've been really busy at work and I've been dealing with minor- but seriously aggravating- health issues for months. I feel like I'm getting better on the health front and things are finally evening out at work a bit. So I have great hope that I may actually stop feeling so freaking tired and crazy soon.

But probably not any time in the next few days. The TV networks are trying to kill me by putting two hours of the Heroes premiere opposite two hours of the Dancing With the Stars premiere, leaving me to wedge in half an hour for How I Met Your Mother and an hour a piece for Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. You'll note that I said two hours of Heroes. Even my four recorder DVR can't deal with this schedule. The extra five minutes of the clip show meant that something was going to be skipped, and since I always favor new TV over stuff I've seen before, the clip show is getting skipped. Actually I can probably watch it, I just can't record it.

I watched the entire series of Spaced over the weekend. Also watched a lot of Dawson's Creek, Dogtown and The Dog Whisperer. Familiar stuff and stuff with narration are very good to watch while knitting. I put the last stitches on my Clapotis at about 12:15 last night. Now I just have to weave in the ends. I knitted it as a wrap for a wedding in two weeks. Of course, now I'm very concerned that it's going to be too warm to wear it. If I'm sweating up a storm knitting this thing while it's draped all over me in Michigan, what's it going to be like in Florida? Oh, well. I get chilled easily, and I knitted the doggone thing, so I'm wearing it.

Speaking of Florida, since I will be in Florida the weekend my parents commence their trip which culminates in meeting me in Florida, I have to start packing some stuff for our trip now. My parents are taking my golf clubs and shoes and some of my vacation stuff down with them. I have my Mom's family golf outing on Sunday, then I will drop off my clubs and other stuff at my sister's house on my way back home. My parents will stop off at my sister's house and pick up my stuff on their way South. So now I have to figure out what I will send with them and what I will bring down, myself, but I have to do it nearly a month before I actually head to Disney World. You'd think this would be easy for a big planner/list-maker like me, but it's really not. I also have to consider what summery stuff and travel gear I'll want to take to Jacksonville in two weeks. And can I just say that I'm having a really hard time sending my golf clubs on vacation without me? I miss golf. A lot. I never expected to. After the outing, there's no chance of golf until October 26th. That's the longest I've gone with playing at all since April. In fact, I think that since last June, the only month I have gone without at least going to the driving range was December. (Love the indoor driving range.) Since when did golf become my security blanket?

Anyway, I have a packing list for Disney already, so I just need to figure out what absolutely has to go by RV instead of by suitcase. Would I be totally lame if it was mostly golf equipment, shampoo and Halloween decorations? We're staying at Fort Wilderness Campground the first four nights of our trip and the Fort Fiends go crazy with Halloween decorations. And since I was totally disheartened by the lack of trick or treaters last year, it seems like it would be a better use of my Halloween decorations. But I'll put some up for the pet-sitter, anyway. At least the black cat lawn ornament and a fake pumpkin or two.

I'm somewhat amazed by the fact that I'm going to be at WDW for the week before Halloween and I'm not going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I've been to WDW in October three times so far, and I've gone to the party every single time. Now I'm going for the most Halloween-tastic week of all and my only interest in MNSSHP is in how it's affected my itinerary with it's preemption of parades and fireworks and it's early park closures. I kind of wish I'd decided to go, but I don't want to over-plan or tire my parents out too much. Besides, I don't have to go to MNSSHP every year. It's not like I'm a DisneyKing or an Alphamousegirl. *subliminal message on* Pre-order Mousejunkies. Come on- doooooo eeeeeeet. *coughcough*

I must call my sister now. She's 42 today. She wasn't yesterday. Or it's entirely possibly she was 42 yesterday and now she's 43. I'm not very good at remembering this sort of thing. But I think it's 42. I know that she turned 18 in 1984, so that means 42, right?
