Bike Winter 2

Hooray Bike Winter has gotten under way.

The party on Friday was quite successful. It was fun, crowded, we made a little money and had a great time.
Personally, I got a ticket going to get change for the party, boo, but the rest of the night made up for it, until I get the ticket anyways.

Saturday I woke up too early to bring all the silk screen stuff to the cupcake ride at Janie's house. It was very fun screening pink cupcake on everyones stuff.

ILars and I then went over to Echo Park ON MY BIKE for the first time in 3 months. I only did this because it is only half a mile from our house and we were late. It was a little scary and I was not particularly secure on it but it was fun. I definitely am not going on rides that are much farther than that for a while. It's too dangerous for me because I can't really hold on properly but it was nice to have the wind in my hair.

Anyways, the paddle boat ride was so fun. This older guy named Joe came over from the West side alone to do it, which was great. Tony and his 2 nephews Ben and William?, Melissa from the Bike Oven, Paul and Veronica, Ashira, and a few other couples. We linked together 4 boats side by side and were doing donuts on the lake. It is quite a relaxing time and it's nice to see all the birds playing in the water.

Afterward Ashira, Melissa, Ben, and Dio came over to our place for pizza and then we went to The Machine gallery to see the Dork Bake off.

I had to go back and forth between that and my house so I could get some jerseys ready for a meeting on Sunday with a group called WOW. The meeting went well and I will be making 14 jerseys for their club. Hooray!!

I am off to cash a check for some curtains I made and mailed to Texas and then I'm off to yoga and maybe some indoor cycling.
