Computer is still down so I'm posting this from my phone. I'm having serious LJ withdrawals. I have so much to say about work and life and baby showers and the fact that I love the movie Pieces of April and how I think Walter maybe saving my life in small ways. But for now I will just say this one thing and ask for your feedback: I've been invited to an engagement party. The couple is from Rhode Island originally, but have lived here for a couple years. I consider them good friends. I've never been invited to an engagement party before. Is it customary to give gifts at one? If so, what is appropriate?
