So far the weather here this spring has been amazing. We've only been over 80 degrees twice that I can recall. We've been sitting in the low to mid 70's for weeks. It's been wonderful! This is absolutely my favorite type of weather. Especially with a few days (like today) of scattered rain showers and thunder storms. I can't remember any other May/beginning of June being this nice. It's usually well in to the 90s by now. According to my weather bug, it's 73 right now and only supposed to be 61 tomorrow! Looking at the 10 day forecast, it's not supposed to get any higher than 76. I'm holding my breath, surely this won't last all summer, but I'll take it as long as I can!
I went and saw The Hangover last night. It was dirty, but funny.
Today I slept my afternoon away. And now, while I can think of 100 things to do around my house, I find that I am bored and have no motivation or desire to do anything.
My dog is doing better. I still have to give her eye and ear drops 3x daily for the next 12 days, but her eye is back to looking normal, which is good. She's still sleeping a lot and not really eating very well. I don't know if the eating thing is because she isn't feeling well or if she's just being picky and doesn't like the food I bought.
I'm trying to think what else happened toward the end of the week. My car has been running great since I got it back. I'm so glad that's done with. It seems to me that something happened that I wanted to write about, but I've completely forgotten. Oh well. It must not have been important.
I was asked to go to Disneyland in September. I have that annual pass thing, so I see no reason not to. I got online and looked at my credit card statement and I have enough "thank you" points to fully cover my flight, so all I'd have to pay for is hotel expenses and food. It would be the typical fly down Friday night, home on Monday thing. 3 nights hotel split 4 ways isn't too bad. I'm still wanting to go down there for my b-day in October. At least for the day. I have that whole week off. Maybe I can figure something out. I just don't want to go alone.
