1. Do you prefer to read hardcover or paperback books?
Paperback, I guess. I like that they are lighter and easier to cart around, but I love having hardbacks, just because they look "fancier" I guess.
2. Do you have a favorite place to read in your home?
The bathroom! lol totally joking. I lay down on my bed to read.
3. Do you have a favorite place to read away from, or outside of, your home?
No. I love being in the comfort of my own home where it's quiet so I can concentrate and get completely lost in the book.
4. Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack?
No. I hate fingerprints! I'll usually have some water in close proximity, but that's about it. Maybe some gum..
5. Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
The only time I've marked up a book was in my high school AP English class. Now if I need to remember something I just take notes in a notepad.
6. How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? Laying the book flat open?
I use whatever piece of paper I can find laying around. Currently it happens to be an old paycheck stub. I have been known to lay a book flat open if it's paperback, but I hate dog-eared pages!
7. Fiction, Non-fiction, or both?
Both, but I guess I read more fiction than anything.
8. Hardcopy or audiobooks?
Hardcopy
9. Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point?
I can generally stop at any point if I need to.
10. If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away? Write it down to look it up later? Just try to infer what it means from the rest of the sentence, and keep going?
Infer. To be honest though, if the book has lots of unfamiliar words I usually don't make it very far.
11. What are you currently reading?
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. haha I decided to refresh my memory in time for the movie this summer so I'm rereading them all. It's taking a lot longer than usual though.
12. What is the last book you bought?
For myself? It was either that Breaking Dawn book or the Tales of Beedle the Bard. I can't remember which came first.
13. What is your all time favorite book?
I don't know. There isn't any one particular book I can call my favorite.
14. Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can read more than one at a time?
I can read multiple books at a time, but I prefer to do read just one at a time so I stay focused.
15. Do you like re-reading books?
It really depends on the book. Some are well written enough to read over and over, but others are not.
