I went to leave my house this morning and my car wouldn't start. It was 9:30 and I had to be somewhere by 10. I frantically called my friends to tell them I wasn't going to make it and one was nice enough to drive really far out of her way to come and get me. After we were done she brought me home and my neighbor helped us push my car out onto the street and jump start it. It didn't work the first time. My neighbor got his own cables and it worked right away. I wonder if mine are bad?
Not wanting to risk turning off my car and having it not start again, I drove directly to the shop. The mechanic tested it and said it was just the battery. I was relieved it was nothing worse! Anyway, so I had to get a new battery, but at least it wasn't anything like the alternator or the starter. When I got to the shop the guys all looked at me and said, "Is that damn check engine light on again?" haha, they were remembering all the times I was in there getting the O2 sensor fixed. I said, "Nope, this time the car just wouldn't even start. Have fun." and gave them the keys. They were funny. They had me out of there in about 35 minutes, which is good. I didn't want to spend my Saturday sitting in the waiting room of a car shop.
