Modesty doesn't matter?

I forgot to mention the newest thing we were told about our dress code at work on Friday. Skirts may not go below your knee. For reals. I find that absolutely disturbing. They originally said your skirt/dress can not go above your knee, but now it can't be any longer either? I can't wait until the first person tells me I have to go home and put on a shorter skirt. I view that as sexual harassment. Not only that, but what about people who don't feel comfortable in shorter length skirts? It's a big modesty issue for a lot of people I work with.

The thing that really gets me is that they know they can do this and everybody will just comply because people can't afford to quit or don't want to give up the benefits. I hate working for a company that tries so hard to control their employees. Monster.com here I come!

OK. I'm done ranting for now, but I'm still highly irritated.
