For those of you who dont have an iPod, the iPod has a folder containing your top 25 played songs. So Mike did this last year and this year, he wrote a blog about his top 25 played songs on his iPod. I feel like I should do the same since his was entertaining. So here it goes!
Taking it from the top we have..
#1 Feel Alive by Benassi Brothers. I'm pretty sure this is only #1 because it was one of the first songs I put on my iPod. Its a great song mind you, but I am a little tired of it now.
#2 Buttons by The Pussycat Dolls. Who doesnt love this song? I also really like their new song, Wait a Minute, but I have yet to download it.
#3 A Dios le Pido by Juanes. I like spanish music and this song is so awesome. I'm really glad its #3, I played it a LOT this year.
#4 Something Kinda Oooh by Girls Aloud. This is one of my favorite songs off their CD, Its funny that its already #4 considering I've only had the cd for about a month and a half. It was my best purchase from London this year and I'm sure others will agree with me.
#5 Owner of a Lonely Heart by Max Graham vs. Yes. This is probably one of my favorite dance songs of this year. It has such a great beat, I could play it over and over.
#6 The Show by Girls Aloud. Another Girls Aloud song, yes! This is my favorite one on the CD which makes me surprised to see it below Something Kinda Oooh because I like this song better.
#7 In My Arms by Mylo. I'm surprised this song is on my Top 25 because I dont really like this song that much. I'm pretty sure its only here because, again, it was one of the first songs I downloaded.
#8 Faster Kill Pusycat by Oakenfold featuring Brittney Murphy. This is a great dance song. I also like it because Brittney Murphy is in it and I didnt think she could sing.
#9 Sand in My Shoes by Dido. This was some dance music mix of this song and its one of my favorite dance songs. Its a great song to blast in your car.
#10 Mas Que Nada by Sergio Mendes and the Black Eyed Peas. Did I say I love spanish music? I do, except this song is half in portugues. I dont think they played this song in America. I first heard it when I was in Berlin and then I downloaded it.
#11 Tell Me Why by Supermode. When I first downloaded this song I played it over and over for like a week straight. It ended up on my top 25 list after like the second week of me having this song. Its amazing and I could still play it over and over again and not get sick of it.
#12 Waiting by Taxi Doll. This is also one of the first songs I downloaded but this time, I'm not tired of this song at all. This is also one of those songs thats really great to drive to. Just get in your car and turn the volume up really loud. Perfect
#13 Speak Slow by Tegan and Sara. I really like Tegan and Sara and I really like this song. I think this was the second song I downloaded when I first got my iPod. I'm surprised Walking with a Ghost isnt on my list because I played that one almost as much as this one.
#14 Tell Me Why (Vocal Mix) by Supermode. Yes its on here again. I downloaded two versions of this song and played them back to back over and over again for about a week straight. This song is amazing.
#15 Tell Me by P Diddy and Christing Aguilera. I am really surprised this is on my top 25 list because I didnt think I played it this much. I do like the song, dont get me wrong, I just dont like it THAT much.
#16 Stickey Honey by Juliette and the Licks. I have to thank Mike for making the Pfannkuchen Mix when I was in NYC and putting this song on it because I absolutely love this song. Its such a great chick/rock song. I can totally see it as a theme song to some teenage girl tv show.
#17 Afraid by Nelly Furtado. Anyone who has this cd knows that this whole cd is amazing. This song is no exception. I'm sure this isnt the only Nelly song on this countdown.
#18 Rumors by Lindsey Lohan. Yes, I love this song. And I make no apologies for it. When I become a famous soap opera star this will be my theme song.
#19 I Watch You by Lee Cabrera. This is a great dance song, I really want to be in a club with this playing but I doubt it will happen unless I open up my own club. Wow, what a great idea.
#20 Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. This is MY song. I love this song. I first heard this song in Berlin where they played it over and over again. So then I downloaded it and made it my ringtone. Before they started playing this song in America, everyone told me they hated this song. And now people like it. Funny how people change their minds.
#21 Maneater by Nelly Furtado. This is another great song on the cd, it was also my ringtone for quite some time. They played this song when I was in Berlin too and the music video in Europe is different than the one in America.
#22 Do It by Nelly Furtado. This is my favorite song on the Nelly Furtado cd. Its very fun and dancey
#23 See the Day by Girls Aloud. Whenever I hear this song I always feel the need to belt it out loud. For some reason its just one of those songs that makes you sing it out loud.
#24 Say it Right by Nelly Furtado. Probably my second favorite song on this cd. I dont like her bangs in this video though, creepy.
#25 Stupidisco by Junior Jack. I was walking through Harrods and this song was playing and I went to my friend Natalie, "I love this song! what is it and who sings it!" and she told me, so I downloaded it. This is also a song I played over and over again for a week straight. That week in London was a great music week for me, I got both Supermode songs, this one, and my Girls Aloud cd all in that week. Amazing.
