I was reading old journal posts, and it is amazing how different things are with Spencer.
It was at this age that I was freaking out about Jack's naps. He never napped easily, and rarely slept more than 30 minutes. My entire day would be putting him to bed, usually unsuccessfully. Spencer naps three times a day for around an hour give or take, and likes to be nursed to sleep. Also at this age Jack would sleep 8-9 hours through the night sometimes. Spencer still wakes every 4 hours, sometimes every 2.
Spencer is much more cuddly and gentle than Jack. Jack would fight and pinch a lot. Spencer sometimes struggles when falling asleep, but I remember feeling beat up by Jack all the time. Also at this age Jack was doing more tummytime and starting to lift his butt. Spencer prefers to work on standing, and sometimes will fuss and fuss unless placed vertically..
I gave Spencer a bit of rice cereal last night. He seemed unimpressed. Will try again today at a time that he is not as tired.
Typed this laying in bed with Spencer, while Jack naps. Always my favorite part of the day. I loooove me some cuddly warm baby.
