So very nice. Really liked the way the two worlds were merged in this. Find myself liking the comics more than the movie every time I open them...though I think that the casting was good for the movie. Guh! That bit from the comic when Cougar was right there when the copter crashed broke my heart and made me want to cuddle him up. Okay well rambling on about the comic and such now, so stopping that and heading off to your other fic. Nice job on this one. Loved how Jensen just put himself with Cougar and no one questioned him. Because really the man did need someone to look after him. He was in no frame of mind to be left alone period.

Thank you so much!

Agreed on the casting, I think they did a great job with that, and for the most part, I'm quite down with the changes they made to the characters in the movie- Making Roque and Aisha more sympathetic, especially. (Even though they de-scarified Aisha to a pretty heavy degree).

Not so familiar with the comics, but ... yeah, knowing what I do about the characters from the movie, I could see this in my mind.

Cool- I was a little bit worried about that. I was going back and forth trying to decide if I needed to recap the comic's story line a bit more, but I couldn't see a way to go about it that didn't wind up being too many pages long. :)

Wow, that was brilliant. I like that you wrote Jensen a little more subdued. The scene called for it and even though his mind was spinning he was more cautious. And your development of Cougar, or rather reanimation, I just really loved it.
Poor Cougs, the copter scene in the comics was just heart-wrenching.

Thank you! (again!)

Re: Jensen being subdued. That totally came out of the fact that it's eleventy billion degrees in my apartment, and even talking seems to take way too much effort. I think even *he* would agree. :)

This fusion is fantastic. There's so much in the details here. I love when we get to see Jensen's serious side, too. He can't be happy-go-lucky all the time, at least not honestly. And poor Cougs! You handled his mental state brilliantly.

Thanks (again!) Jensen's usually pretty chatty, but it doesn't mean he's not paying attention. :)
