I enjoyed that meme. Kind chuffed with the Kurt answer :-)

Great writers, well done.

I like Kurt- well, his ideas, more than his writing style.

I'm cranky about the Dan Brown one, though. Couldn't *stand* the DaVinci Code.. :)

Well, I don't think I'd be flattered if I were told I write like Dan Brown ... And could you be writing in iambic pentameter and not know it?

Apparently, I write like Stephen King -- I think the program looked for words like demons, magic, etc. I didn't put in any slash. I wonder what would happen if I did? Check my page for answer in a bit!

I think I might just have to start posting sonnet fics, though I'll admit, dirty limericks are more my scene. :D

I'm curious, too, to see what metrics they use to come up with an answer.

It's funny, I never really liked Stephen King, probably because I read him in Middle School and have been considering him "kids stuff" ever since, rightly or wrongly, but I read The Stand not too long ago, and it was a blast. Loved it. Also, have you ever come across "Stephen King on Writing?" As far as the writers talking about the craft genre goes, it's awesome, and pretty much made me wish I lived down the street from King or something like that. Not my favorite author, but he's just so damned *likeable*!

Dan Brown? Ugh. Time to slap the computer!

Amen!

I tried reading the DaVinci code, and got as far as the third page before I had to put it down. It was easily one of the worst opening scenes I've ever read in a story, and keep in mind I still actually check out fanfiction.net's more dubious offerings!
