You know what the really funny thing was? When I set down to write this, the idea I had was actually, funny. Seriously. :)

No kidding! And it's usually some tiny detail that nobody would notice that ends up setting me off on an entirely new thing that, well, turns out not to work in the first place. Oh well. :)

Very, very nice! Poor Alec. Because it would *have* to be him to do this if, God forbid, any of them did go down. I love how you have his mind wandering. Very much him.

And, yes, those corners are tricky things. I've written myself into a few of them over the years. I even once had a character bilocate! Always fun giving them new talents, lol.

Actually, bilocation would be really useful right now, with the story. IF ONLY I WERE WRITING A DOCTOR WHO CROSSOVER! Argh. But, it's straightened out, now, and I'm about to post it.

Yeah. I almost went that route, but I really don't like deathfics. Which is strange, since I tend to write fairly angsty stuff, but who knows.. :) Glad you liked!

Yeah, I don't think I could write deathfic. I'm a little too firmly entrenched in the "beat the hell out of them and make them make out" camp to pull it off. :)
