Ronon's assessment of John, Rodney's and Teyla's approach to meetings is spot on. :D I do find it sweet that he worries about John even as he's planning to beat him up.

Yeah, he's sort of in the tough-love school of thought. :)

Ronon made sure to make it look like he was manhandling John more than he really was, and it didn't hurt that Keller was hot on their trail. Made it look more like they were both moving decisively under her orders, and less like he was trying to keep his stupid boyfriend from fainting in the middle of the gate room because he was too stubborn to miss the most boring meeting in the universe.

Awwww ... I'm all melty again. You notice that I feel the same way about Ronon, John, and those two eps. Stupid boyfriend. LOL!

Still very sweet. Love the touch along the collarbone. Sigh ...

*grin*

I seriously tried to think of any other term to use than "stupid boyfriend," because I felt using it meant that I should go into some cross-cultural explanation of social terminology. So I used it anyway. :)

Well, Ronon seems pretty well-versed in social terminology and slang. I love in Miller's Crossing when John tells Ronon he finally has somebody to shoot at and Ronon says, "Sweet!" Too funny.

And "stupid boyfriend" just made me giggle.

Good point. Awesome. Don't need to worry about it, then. :)

LOL, "something something forms something" been in those meetings myself.

"Let his hand trail down John's chest a little, but not so far as to make it totally apparent that he was checking the injury." Definitely a 'melty' scene.

No kidding. I had one yesterday. Apparently, our boss wants us to actually *turn in* our time sheets at the end of the pay period. It scares me that I work with people who don't have that figured out, and I wonder what they've been doing with theirs...

Unfortunately, there were no pretties in my meeting. No puncture wounds, either, but at that point, anything would have been more interesting. :)

Tell me you weren't thinking of this fic during your meeting! Much more pleasant than "something something forms something." Of course, I'll be thinking of this at my next meeting. It was bad enough to be giggling on my break!

No, at the meeting, I was thinking of killing several of my co-workers.

And not in the fond "my stupid boyfriend" kind of way.

I love that you did this! I just adore that scene in Prodigal, where Ronon gets called into Principal Woolsey's office for not doing his homework. hehe!

I love Ronon's thoughts throughout this, Rodney extending the meeting, Teyla actually *paying attention* (I bet she was taking notes, too) and Ronon glaring more holes into John.

And "stupid boyfriend," yeah, I can so hear Ronon saying that!

I love this. Sweet, melty, mushy, glaring guy-love at its best!

Cool! Glad you likey! But oh dear...I just realized that there could be an entire HS AU out of this...

Woolsey's the principal. Easy.
Ronon's the slacker. Bonus points for being in a band that never actually rehearses.
McKay's the Nerd King. Chess club. Math Olympics. Music Theory.
Teyla's the preppy-gonna-go-to-law-school chick. Too serious for her own good.
John's the, I don't know. He's the jock, but he plays tennis and golf instead of football.
Keller's the prom queen.
Zelenka, Carter, Weir, Chuck, Carson or whoever would be the teachers.

Oh, wait. The Breakfast Club:

Ronon=Bender
John= Andrew
Rodney=Brian
Teyla= Allison
Keller=Claire

I really need to take a nap, I think...

And Lorne, the wise-cracking class clown who sells term papers on the side. ;-)

That's awesome.

Someone who isn't me really needs to write that.
