First, you can make this as long as it needs to be!

It's interesting to see the dynamics of the teams without Ronon, and how much Sheppard has come to depend on his presence. And I ache for Ronon, being so isolated and missing Atlantis. On top of that, he's sick! And no John to hold his aching head. ((sob)) The insight into Sheppard's thoughts after "The Siege" and before Ronon was touching, and a little sad.

The caveman dialogue was hilarious, though. Especially Sheppard's remark about Rodney inventing the chain saw one day and the microwave the next! So true.

Yeah. I figured with all the angst, some humor had to be shoved in there somewhere. Otherwise it's all "angst angst angst angsty angst angst angstier macangstypants. Angst."

Twice as long sounds fine to me. No need to rush. More is better, especially when there's angst involved. ;-)

And speaking of … Poor Ronon, sick and suffering, and with no John to make it all better! And poor John, pining for Ronon *and* having to keep his people in line.

And now there's Radim. Loved the "massive overreaction on your part" line. Yep, that's Sheppard!

The Rodney section was also a hoot. Chainsaw, microwave, eaten on the third day. That's McKay!

Anyway. i was just stoked that I was able to work in a cameo for Radim. He's one of my favorite non-regular characters. Just has this air of being in on the joke that's kind of adorable.
