Halp! Beta?
hey, flist buddies o' mine. Would any of you be interested in betaing my story for thebigbangjob? It's mostly finished, here, I'm just a scene away from the end, but because it's all going up at once, instead of chapter by chapter, I've found myself dealing with it as this ONE BIG HUGE THING instead of a story in progress (that probably doesn't make sense, I know) so it feels like there's no tension at all in the storyline and I'm kinda hating it and I have a few weeks to tweak things before it goes live, so...
Yeah. I guess what I'm looking for is a general "x worked, y bored the fuck out of me, you're repeating yourself here" kind of stuff. The technical grammar and spelling stuff I'll still be taking care of (it's looking pretty clean so far, I'll do a final sweep before posting), it's more the big picture that I could use some help with.
I'm more than willing to bribe with fic (though I've got three auction fics I'm going to be working on, fairly soon, so it might take a little time) or fanmixes (with really cruddy cover art, cause visual talent? I have none). Fandoms/pairings/themes of your choice, of course.
