Stolen from orbiting_saturn on LJ.

Creature Fics: Not really, though I did totally write a Bigfoot and Henry slash fic.  But not my favorite- think I overdosed on reading BVTS/ATS back in the day.

Animagus: I had to look this one up.  It's wizards who are also were-animals.  I have no idea, but the fandoms I get into, it hasn't been an issue(?) yet.

Mpreg: I really don't get into this one.  Again, I wrote one, mostly to see what all the fuss was about.  And it was dark and icky and mean, which pretty much sums up what I think of the genre as a whole.  But I'll read it if it's a writer I like.

Slave: No.

BDSM, S&M: Again, not so much.

Age difference: Hmm.  Castiel and Dean, I like, Castiel and Chuck, I totally adore.  And Castiel's like a billion years old.  But outside of that, not so much.  I can't imagine dating anyone ten years younger than me, or twenty years older than me.  Maybe that's it.

Blood-Play: Haven't written any, it's not a draw, but it's not a turnoff.

Under-age (chan): Not my scene, not even a little bit.

Cross-dressing/Gender bender: If it's written well.  I tried writing it once, more to explore the idea, but as usual, turned it into a depressing mess.

Dubious-consent: It's not a draw, but it won't stop me reading a story unless it's one of the (all too many) that seem to exist to cover for the fact that it's actually non-con, and written in a way so that the writer's giving an easy out for forgiving the rapist.

Non-con:  I've read a few that were handled well, but there are a lot more out there that seem to use it as a shorthand woobie device.

Incest: I can understand the Sam/Dean thing, (but really prefer Castiel/Dean anyhow), and I think it's because I've been in fandom long enough that nothing's really surprising me any more.

Threesome/more-some/gang-bang: Again, there are a few that I've liked, but for the most part, it always just seems to disintegrate into complicated discussions of "tab a into slot b" and people awkwardly maneuvering around the use of pronouns (I'm pretty sure that's where Ronon gets turned into "The Satedan," John into the "Smaller Man," Sam into "The Blonde," and Teyla into "The Athosian woman." but then again, that was just the last one I remember trying to read.

Death: Only if they can stage a massive comeback in the epilogue, and yes, I'll read ahead to check.  :)

Water-sports/scat: Never read any.  Think it would squick me, and now I'm sitting here wondering if I should track some down just to find out...

Crossovers: If done well.  It helps if the genres aren't too different, and it seems that my hangup is "are there spaceships in both universes?"

Unhappy/wide open endings: I like reading them, and wish I had the restraint to actually write them.

Infidelity: No.

Self-harming/Attempted suicide: Once upon a time, in my early days of reading BTVS/ATS, I could see it, but not with the fandoms I'm into nw.  Maybe I got over my teen angst phase, or maybe it's just that the fandoms I'm reading these days don't have characters where it seems believable.

Rimming: Sure!

Felching: If that's the only thing in the description, I'll probably not read it (nobody's come tastes like ice cream!) but if it just shows up, that's cool

Fisting: Thought I'd hate this one, read one or two where it was pretty rad.

Addictions/Disorders: Yes!.

Torture/Violence: I love violence, and torture inasmuch as it leads to massive h/c later.  I'm a sucker for that sort of thing.

Toys: Yay!

Uniforms: I can see the appeal, but can't figure out why someone who wears one every single day (or works with someone who does) would get all turned on by it.  For me, it seems like getting all hot and bothered by office wear.  Meh.

Double penetration: Be careful!  Have fun!

Anal (het, gay and/or lesbian): Yay!

Deep-throating: Yay!

Boot worship, foot fetish: Nay!

Chains, shackles, collars, handcuffs, and other means to restrain a character: Hmm.  Not so much in a sexin' kinda way, but as long as it's tied in with my violence/kidnapping kink, hells yes!

Blindfolds:  Oooh.  yes.

Certain places such as dungeons, prison cells, interrogation room, offices (add your own if you have one I didn't mention):  Ooh.  Yes.  Except for offices.  Offices are BORING.

Mind games/mind fuck (you know, that nice psychological approach to bend a character to one's will and/or break them):  As long as it's not, like, I don't know, Hardison fucking with Eliot's mind or something.  But if someone else wants to fuck with them (of course, leading to massive h/c makeouts) then sure!

Food play/sploshing:  Nah.

Gore/guro: HAd to look guro up.  Not a fan of either.

Fight for dominance: Love reading it, want to start writing it.

Breath play/asphyxiation: Hmm.  No.

Hair-pulling/biting/scratching/bruising:  Yes.

Gun play/knife play/wand play (knife play does not have to include cutting someone, and you can add some other inanimate object to the list, if you have one!):  Never written it, but like it.

Drugs or intoxication: Lately, I've been getting into this one a bit more.  It's probably because I really like making Cas and Chuck get wasted together.  :)

Language kink (accents etc.): Ooh, never thought of this one.  Intrigued.  :)

Squick fics (aka fics that are meant to squick the hell out of you): As long as they're not warning me that their writing is crap, I'll read it.

Have to get married!: Kinda contrived, but I've read a few that I liked.  And avoided a thousand more just because that was all it said in the summary.

Soul- (life-, heart-, force-, marriage-, wizard-, etc.) bonds:  Meh.  It's like marriage with more handwavy woo thrown in.

Hurt/comfort: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!  Total sucker for it, like *whoa*

Kid!fic: No way in hell.  Though Danny in H-50 has a kid, so she's allowed to show up.

Time travel: I've got one on the back burner right now.  And am a huge Doctor Who fan.  And I love reading these.  YES

AUs:  If there's a plot, yes.  (what if Sateda never fell, what if Eliot got kicked off the team).  But if it's a high-school AU or something like it, fuck no.  I did high school once.  It wasn't that interesting.

Amnesia: Nah.

Undercover!gay/Have to pretend to be a couple: Not a fan of it, really.  Unless Rogers & co. wanted to do something along those lines next season on Leverage...  But in fic, it's pretty much the same thing as the "have to go through marriage ritual x for some reason" and it just seems lazy.

Redeemed!evil character: YES.

Orgasm Denial: Yay!

Sex pollen/mate-or-die scenario: I'm not really a huge fan, though I had a blast writing one.  Go figure.

A few others that I'm adding:

Outsider POV:  I can't get enough of these.  Love them to bits.

PWP:  Not so much.  Unless it's *really* hot, or I already know that I like the author.

Domestic: *yawn*  I can make toast and coffee and do the laundry at home, if I want to.
