It's Condo Time!
Work on the condo has begun. It is now painted, in lovely colors I might add, and there are new light fixtures up. My dad likes changing cheesey stuff like that. This week he is spraying for bugs, and on Thursday, I'm going to clean the place and start setting up the kitchen. Also that day my new fridge, washer, and dryer are being delivered. We set up the patio table and chairs already so my back balcony is starting to look better. I'm going to try and move small stuff in this week if I have time. I should probably first focus on packing up more of my shit. I've been getting neat little decorations and I can't wait to start setting up all my candles and room accesories. Sunday will begin the furniture move-in process. We'll be getting a U-Haul truck to move my bed, a dresser, and armoir, a bookshelf, a kitchen table set, a TV stand...and the list goes on. That being said, this could go quite quickly the more people there are moving stuff. Also, everyone won't be as tired moving because the work will be more spread out. What I'm getting at here people is, if anyone is available this Sunday to help me move, I would greatly, greatly appreciate it. Gimme a call and let me know, or I'm probably seeing some of you tonight for Lutz's going away festivities, so we'll talk then.
Today I had my first "woman doctor" appointment. It wasn't so bad. She was a few years out of med school, lookin' pretty hip and cool, and her hand was in my...well, I'm sure you guys can figure it out. I think it helped that I'm not the most modest person. So, Corwin, someone beat you today to feeling me up. I'm sorry. Oh yeah, I also am going to get started on birth control. Hopefully I won't experience too many side affects. I know things will be kinda funky the first few months, but hopefully I'll last. Hmm, what else has happened lately? Oh yeah, an exec. board position opened up in my fraternity and the president e-mailed me because she wants me to do it. It's called VP of Communication, which is a fancy way of saying secretary. I would keep track of what goes on at meetings and right up reports to send down to headquarters. Not the most exiting thing, but I think it would be good for me. She wants me to write up some reports for her to see if the position will fit. So, I guess I better get hoppin'.
Oh yeah, my bonus from work came through today!!! I got an extra 100 bucks, which nowhere compares to Megan's bouns, but I was happy nonetheless. Peace out peeps!
