I think a lot of us take the things we have in life for granted. When you grow up with many of these little luxuries, it's hard not to count them as given. I think sometimes, though, it is good for the soul to count your blessings and remember that even the mere fact that we are all here on LJ together is a kind of luxury. So i give you a poll. These are just material things, and certainly they aren't everything. There is so much in the world that is far more important. Taking a moment for yourself each day to gather your thoughts, maybe take a walk or stretch out on the floor and daydream - there is a little luxury that everyone can afford. If we remember to love the little things, those big scary things in life might just feel more manageable. ;)
