things are mediocre, but could of course be worse.
i applied for two jobs today. Both graphic design jobs, one for M&T Bank and one for the Talking Phonebook. Neither of them sound like dream jobs of course, but i need something to live on. I will probably apply for more within the next week. i am slowly (quickly?) depleting my bank account. the small amount of money i am bringing home every week isn't cutting it anymore. at all. i'm ready to say goodbye to my two current jobs before winter hits. The afterschool program isn't horrible, i'm just not confident/sharp enough to really handle situations the way that they need to be handled. As much as i like some of those kids and sometimes like to be around them, it's not me.
RJ and i will finally have a kitchen table in a week or two, and it's the most exciting thing in the world right now because dinners will be a lot more comfortable around here.
I'm excited for christmas (aside from not having any money). We're definitely getting a tree and i couldn't be more excited. I love sitting by the christmas tree when it's lit up at night. It's so relaxing.
friday pete and i are going to see bill cosby in syracuse. everyone i have told thinks i'm totally retarded. oh well.
I don't know what i'm doing for thanksgiving. I don't know if it's a good idea to drive to syracuse twice in one month (money), and i would have to come back thanksgiving night to work at the men's shop friday. RJ's family invited me over to their ridiculously large family event of like 30 people. We went to his parents' house last night for his dad's birthday dinner. I love his family. Mom, dad, brothers, sister, grandparents, everyone. they are all great. i'm usually constantly laughing while i'm there, and i think they enjoy my wittiness and sarcasm.
hopefully things will start falling into place soon. winter is stressful.
oh, and i'm 22 now. how exciting.
