SO ridiculously happy that FOX is losing MILLIONS of $$ on the Fantastic Four movie. :)
Karma may never make you pay for all the brilliant shows you canceled, but I am SO happy you are at least getting punched in your (figurative) balls now and then, at least financially.
The casts and fans of Profit, Firefly, Breaking In and Almost Human, join me in a hearty chuckle, will you?
And BTW, since it OBVIOUSLY needs to be pointed out to the Powers That Be, just throwing a super hero onscreen with some special effects and fight scenes is NOT enough. Also, trailers that give you NO idea what the movie is about? F4 ones only had:
Little to NO dialogue, or ANY idea WHAT it was about, just had:
Guy on fire
Girl holding her arms out
Giant rock thing in his undies jumping down from above to give us a view of his taint
Oh my GAWD, I'm gonna line up a WEEK early to see this!

If fans of the COMIC are going "Uhmmm.... WHAT?" just exactly how do you expect people who aren't comic fans to get sucked in?"
"DUDE! Saw a preview for a new movie we GOTTA see. So, uhm... a guy catches on fire.... not sure if that's good or bad.... then some amazingly unappealing, bitchy looking dead-eyed chick holds her arms out... dunno why... it was pretty dark.... but she was blond....then some regular looking dude turns his head to the RIGHT.... and some dude in a mask turns his head to the LEFT, but there was FIRE in the background! (I Think) Then a giant pile of orange rock in the shape of a DUDE, wearing a SPEEDO jumps down towards the camera, and it's all WHOA! Incoming taint!..... SOooooo..... wanna GO?"

You need to GET what movie viewers WANT
We want a good SCRIPT.
We want characters we CARE about, played by actors that are appealing (NO, that doesn't mean good looking, it means APPEALING) not dead eyed props that are phoning it in for a paycheck, or clearly have no idea what they are doing in the role
STILL don't get it? Let's see....
Ant-Man is a super hero widely thought of as a joke. But you get a good script, good actors, and we'll line up to see it.
I'm a hard core comic GEEK, and I'd NEVER heard of Guardians of the Galaxy. But that SCRIPT... that CAST.... OMFG...

Conversely, you can take one of the most beloved and iconic super hero teams like Fantastic Four, and phone it in....
