The World of Jen
So its been awhile (I think) since I posted a real update, so here you go. Once again, in handy list form.
-I got my MCAT scores. They suck. I got a 22S. The 22 part is what really sucks. To be competitive and even have a chance of getting an interview at the 2 schools I applied to I needed a 30 or better. So, I think this is the end of that for the year. The S is fantastic though. That is the score for the writing sample. They're graded weird, on a scale of L (I think) to T with T being the best. A score of S puts me in the 96th percentile! Whoo hoo! Maybe I should go to law school or get my doctorate in philosophy instead.
-Sunday is my first Sabbat as a Pagan. I'm not really sure how to celebrate. It is the wine harvest though, so I'm thinking a bottle of merlot is in order!
-We're going to Seattle for a wedding this weekend. Strangely enough, my brother is also going to be in town for a wedding (a different one). It will be nice to see him. Oh, and the church where we're going for the ceremony? Right next door to my high school! I think I'll be able to find it! (I used to have Girl Scout troop meetings there! :) )
-October 19th we're going to Santa Cruz. I'm excited. I have been promised that we will go to the beach, and Scott thinks there is a chance we will go to the winery as well. After that I'm happy. OH! And its monarch season, so we may go see the butterflies too!
-Stats is going well. First test is in two weeks! Eek!
-I'm working on finally learning my tarot deck. By Halloween (my next Sabbat) I should be able to do readings. That will be fun!
-Ok I must pack...and get Scott out of bed. We have to get the brakes on my car fixed today before we leave, so the faster we get moving, the sooner we get there!
