trip stuff
Hey everyone,
I'm in Amarillo, Texas at the moment. I'm really enjoying the road trip so far. I got to see the mississippi river when we drove into Missouri. We stopped at the precious moments village (chapel). That was neat to see and I think my mom really enjoyed it since she likes Precious Moments.
I also enjoyed going through Oklahoma.. (seriously!).. I listened to the twister musical score and it really fit with the background. (Twister was filmed in Oklahoma and Kansas). That was amusing. Too bad we were there in the summer.. and not in the spring. Lmao.. I doubt my parents feel the same way.
Texas is also a neat looking state. We went into a local diner for dinner and man, the portions in Texas really are big! lol
We will drive through New Mexico and into Arizona tomorrow. I can't wait to see those states too. Grand Canyon here I come..
