I haven't ever done this before, but I'll give it a try since I love this particular character and I'm bored right now ^_^

Mamoru had felt a bond with her the very first time he had taken her small hand in his. He had protected her and perhaps even spoiled her a little ever since that first day that she had come in to their lives as a lonely lost little girl. Mamoru had even known he was going to be her father on that long ago day that Chibiusa had introduced herself as Usagi Small Lady Serenity and the future King Endymion had told them that she was their daughter.
He had known and he had loved her for years. However, it had never really hit home. It had always been a distant sort of concept. He would be a father some day in the far future, but even though he had known it had never felt real.
Mamoru had been excited when Usagi had first told him that she was pregnant, but even then he hadn’t felt what he felt now. Fatherhood suddenly meant so much more the moment he looked down on the small pink blanket wrapped bundle that Ami had just laid in Usagi’s arms. Mamoru reached down and laid a gentle hand on his newborn daughter’s pink tufts, his throat choking up with emotion.
The fact that this fragile child would now rely on him for everything became reality. She would need him to keep her safe both physically and emotionally, to teach her, and to comfort her. It was somewhat frightening to know how much she would need him in the years to come, but he also felt a warm aura of love as he gazed down at his lovely wife and new daughter.
Usagi smiled warmly up at her husband and murmured, “Congratulations Mamo-chan. You’re a father ...”
Mamoru returned her smile, adoration and love shining visibly within his gaze. He leaned forward and kissed Usagi before pulling back a little and whispered softly, “A family Usako, we made a family together ...”
