Bad Day ...

Cinder has injured her right back paw. I thought she might have been cut or something so I took her to the vet, but according to the vet she did it herself. Apparently she's been nervous about something and started a bad habit of nervously nipping at her paw until it was red, swollen, and raw enough to leave spots of blood when she walked ( Read more... )

Is Cinder your cat?

(Btw) If you'd like more snow I can send some your way!

lol okay no snow!

My cat is much older but she has taken to digging at her neck. The result, her neck has become bald and she had a huge scab and she just keeps digging. I'm thinking about covering it, maybe bandaging her neck. I'm just afaid she make choke herself somehow trying to get it off if I do.

^_^ Our snow is all gone now, it only stayed a day or so. Anyway, a loose bandage shouldn't hurt, or her vet might have a better idea.

We havn't taken her to see a vet, we really dont have the money. Did you put a bandaid or anything on your cat? Maybe I should just put one of those bigger bandaids on her but I'm afraid to pull out more hair.

Congrats on getting rid of the snow, ours is still on the ground. However, it was a really nice day out today even though it didn't melt.

I wouldn't put a bandaid on her. Try wrapping a clean bandage around her neck, don't let the tape touch her fur .. put it on the bandage. She probably won't leave it on, but it would help for awhile ... something like neosporin or some other kind of antibiotic ointment wouldn't hurt either.
