It's done!
We're back from the wedding and we're pretty tired. We had a really good time...it was an awesome party!
The cake turned out beautifully...at least I think so. N thought it was beautiful and so did most of the people I talked to. I'm not sure what the bride thought, though. When I asked her if it met her expectations, she said it tasted great. I know the groom thought it looked cool...he had a big grin on his face when he saw it before the wedding. I'm just not sure it was what the bride had in mind.
Anyway, here are the pics. I'm really proud of the way it turned out!
Like I said, I don't know what the bride thought of it and I'm sorry if she didn't like the end result look-wise, but she did love the taste of it and seemed thankful that I had done it for her. And everyone who found out I'd done the cake told me how wonderful it was.
