Things that are awesome this week:
1) I didn't have to work during the Royal Media Circus, while every other graveshifter at Getty did, along with most of the ops teams in general.
2) I spent over four hours last night in good, honest, and hilarious conversation with a friend I haven't seen for years and years, and got to meet his adorable Scottish girlfriend. In a noisy public venue, no less, go me.
3) I made a sizable dent in a rather long list of chores yesterday, which pleases me.
4) Portal 2 is fun, even if I can only play for a bit at a time due to the onset of FPS nausea.
5) My kitty loves me.
