How To: Custom Friends List Filters
A little How To for you lovelies. This is how to create a custom filter on your friends list with some instructions. Sometimes certain people or communities have things you don't need every day, but you still want to keep track of them, this is how to do it. Hope you find it helpful.
Step 1: Cut a hole in the box. From the Livejournal home page choose Manage and then Friends. The Friends Tools Page will then come up.
Click on Custom Friends Groups and the Manage Custom Friends Groups page will come up.
Click on the New Button and the give your group a name. It is recommended that your primary one be called DEFAULT as you will be able to use that one for RSS feeds & such. Think of it as your Friends Only filter and who you want to Primarily watch.
Then select the people/communities you want to watch and click the add >> button.
Click the Save Button
And you are done.
