first impressions vs lasting impressions
So I've been thinking a lot lately of the perception people get of me. Its sort of baffling. I think this whole thinking process of mine got started when the Giannakopoulos' asked me to tutor their daughter. You come across as very capable and bright.. You are witty and funny and so grounded and down to earth.. that's what I love about you.. there is no false pretense or doubt.. you are forward and honest.. that is why George picked you to be his daughter's tutor.. not beucase you exude this I'm smarter then everyone attitude.. but you have a confidence and the ability to do it...
I got through these moments where I think.. OMG what if I never ever settle down.. what if I can't.. Dude.. we are 20 and 21 there is a great big world out there for us. we shouldn't wanna settle right now.. We should never hafta.. what good is it gunna do us to settle. We have soo much oppertunity right before us and we are at a time in our lives where we are supposed to be self envolved.. figuring out what we want and don't want in our jobs and our school and our relationships. now is our time.. and we need to take every oppertunity and learn for every experience cuz we are never getting them back..
