One week to go!!!
I'm getting slightly nervous.. Thinking about what I need to take with me, what I should wear at the wedding, where I should sleep, what to do in those 2 weeks, etc. etc.
It's a Capricorn thing, we like things to go smooth and to be planned well before it's actually going to happen.. So blame it on that! ;)
Yesterday I was riding my bike when I had to wait for a trafficlight..I mean, it was RED, so I had to stop. An old guy on skeelers went passed me, through the red light. So I said out loud; "Hmm, I thought it was RED." He just shook his head and waved with his hand as if to say; "yeah right, whatever.." I HATE it when old folks do that.
They always whine about young people, but 9 out of 10 times I see people jaywalking, or whatever it's called, it's OLD people!
So I bike on and the next trafficlight comes up, also RED. So I stop.. There's a policeman standing on the road I need to cross. But the light is RED and he's not controlling traffic. So I STOP. There's an old lady walking towards the road from the other side and yes... SHE WALKS ON. Right behind the cop's back THROUGH a red light. So I couldn't help myself and said;" Well geesh, lady, you sure have guts to do that!" She smiles and shrugs and walks on. The cop turns around when he heard me say that and.. DOES NOTHING. He SEES everything but just turns around again and keeps on staring where ever the F he was staring at! God, I hate that.
The guy on skeelers caught up and NOW he waited. Because there was a cop. I mumbled something and thank God the light went green by that time.
But DAMN, that's my biggest pet peeve I think..
Anyhoooo... I got to the mobilephone store and asked for a Samsung E720. 2 or 3 weeks ago I was at the same store and the lady told me it was a new phone and costed like 329€. Everywhere else I looked it was a LOT more expensive. So here I was, asking for that phone. The guy goes; "Pff, we don't have that one anymore, it's now the E730." That phone was not what I wanted though.. I asked if I could order the E720. That was no problem. Something in my mind told me to ask for the price. The same lady told the guy that it was 10€ cheaper than the E730. And now comes the funny part.. The E730 costed 380€!!!! I was like; "HUH? It costed 329€ here before!" And then the lady AND the guy told me that -I- was wrong. It all smelled fishy to me so I told them to stick that phone.. No, really, I just told them I'd go look somewhere else.
Next store I found, the E720 was still in store and costed 339€. Now that's more like it!
The phone TOTALLY rocks. And if all goes well I can even call within the US with it! :D It makes great pictures and videos too! WITH sound!
Now the only thing I need to change is the ringtones. They're kinda weird, but I'll see if I can download some new ones. :)
