So... I'm moving in 2 weeks & 4 days. Well, that's the official moving date. The Pro Cleaning service is going through the Condo on 5/18, and once they're done I can start moving my stuff in.

I hate moving. I've done it a lot. I'm kind of a pro at it. I hate it. A lot. I can't bring myself to pack things up if I think I might need them again. I always wait until the last possible freaking second, and then pull an all-nighter and spend all day too. Ugh.
So I stockpile boxes. If I can, I box up something like my winter clothes (if it's summer), and stick them on the porch or something first. I also have done a lot of moving unassisted, taking carload after carload after carload on my own. (2nd floor walkup in Jersey City to 3rd floor walkup (NO elevators anywhere) in Westchester Co., without taking any days off from work-- load car up and go to work, unload on lunch hour, unload the rest after work, eat dinner, then drive home and load car back up. Repeat for 5 days, 1 weekend, and then 3 more days. Coated in bruises solidly from shins to chest, but survived. NEVER DOING IT AGAIN.)

I should mention I discovered a couple of boxes last month. They were still packed from my last move. In 2005.

... I heard the LIRR game was pretty intensely exciting! I'd love to see the Syracuse bout but I really don't think I can get there. Too much to do here! But I'll make it out to the ROC sometime this season!!!
