It must be something about the season, because I'm totally obsessed with photography and visual capture, et al.
I recharged some AA Batteries last night, and during lunch today set off along the Canal Trail behind my building to snap some pics. Part of it was just a desire to take pictures (to make up for lack of Pics from Harvest Raids), and part of it was in answer to the invitation/challenge from
dicea and the
Photo-ssignments of
trogddor (whom I don't know but will gladly accept any excuse to be inspired, ;) )
I had a wonderful afternoon... and 45 min went by way too quickly. I played around with exposure settings and color vs black & white, and ended up taking quite a few pics. of them I uploaded 35 into 2 sets on my Flickr Page.
I picked out a couple of them for the "symmetry/assymmetry" assignment; and/or simply because i liked them... but i'd love for feedback and comments not just on these but on the flickr sets too! :)
Canal Walk - B&W Canal Walk - Color Berries
Under the Bridge - i actually get a little bit of vertigo when i look at this for some reason... (Photo-ssignment entry)
Overgrown tracks - this one amused me because i kept thinking "HA! Mother Nature scoffs at your artificial symmetry!" (Photo-ssignment entry)
Retired railroad bridge - no, the bridge is lopsided, not the camera, hehehe
Pretty little flower hiding next to a big rock... drinking in the noontime sun
"Wild" Pear Trees along the Canal. I'm not gonna eat 'em :P
This tree is just gorgeous to me... from top to bottom it just screams "Autumn!"
thanks for humoring me :D (and yes, i still want a new camera)
