Surfin' / News
I finally rode my first west coast wave on Saturday although it was finished with the lamest fall on the face of the earth. Well... maybe not THAT lame. I'm getting better though! I caught 4 waves in 30 minutes which is probably an all-time high for me AND it was relatively easy. ROCK ON! Come to California and I'll take you surfing next Saturday! Looks like we may have a good size group.
Today was nice too since I got to hang out a the park all day and it wasn't too hot. It's been over 100 degrees here and we don't have A/C in our apartment! My church had a big BBQ at the Rose Bowl park today. It was so much fun. It's even better to finally start making some friends out here b/c it makes it feel more like home. I miss all of you guys though!!!
My news is that I'm quitting my job. My last day is Thursday and I'm soooo happy. Most people wouldn't really consider it news since I haven't told half of my friends about it let alone given anybody my address. Oops. Yeah, kinda bad about that. Maybe I'll send out one of those mass emails even though I hate them.
Well, I'd better get ready for sleep. Have a good week my friends!
