Humans are so primal. We boast our "superiority," we take pride in our technology, we call ourselves rational, we believe we're educated, and yet, this all crumbles and disappears when humans try to mate. I mean, it's always the same procedure more or less, and it goes a little like this (Warning: Asterisks may be used).

Woman: *pretends she hasn't noticed*
Man: *debates approaching woman*
Woman: *wonders what's taking so long*
Man: *approaches, making a total fool out of himself*
Woman: *notices he's making a fool out of himself, yet doesn't mind it*

Woman: Thanks.

Woman: How could I possibly say no?
Both: *act of reproduction*
Of course, there are exceptions, and the roles may switch, and the woman might be a man and vice versa, but, I believe that's the base of it all.
