Well, after months of bugging people to vote for us (sorry), we finally got the results of the Bloodstock Unsigned Competition this morning and Scarecrow won, by an overwhelming majority, the opening slot on the Main Stage on Saturday Morning. I think there will be some controversy over how the competition was run, and why a number of bands were disqualified, but for now we bathe in the glory!
Thanks to everyone that voted for us, the guys are so incredibly excited I wish you could see their little faces ;)
When I finally saw the news I was nearly sick... I've been pursuing my role as "the constant voice of reason" and have been playing down this competition to the guys so that they wouldn't be too devastated if they lost, but perhaps inside I take this stuff a little bit too seriously!
