There’s very little new network shows that I’m interested in this fall season. That’s fine because I have plenty of shows on streaming to watch. In some ways, it’s like the new fall season is a thing of the past. There are only two new shows I’m planning to check out.

Quantum Leap. Premieres 9/14. 10 pm EST on NBC. A sequel/reboot to the ‘90’s show starring Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett. I watched the original but I remember being angry at the ending where it just stated that Sam never made it home. This involves a new “Leaper” who is trying to find Sam. I’ll give it a shot.

Gotham Knight. Premieres 2023. CW. The CW has cancelled most of their DC superhero shows. There’s a possibility this may never even air. But I’ll watch it if it does even though it looks cheesy. After Bruce Wayne is murdered, his adopted son teams up with the offspring of some of the Gotham villains to solve his murder. It could be fun if done right.

I’m also looking forward to the return of:

La Brea (9/27)

Survivor (9/21)

Stargirl (Premiered 8/31.)

Amazing Race (9/21)

Young Sheldon (9/29)

Ghosts (9/29) I really love this show!

Walking Dead (10/2) The final episodes!

Mandalorian (2/23)

Manifest (11/4) Now on Netflix.

Ghosts (BBC.) Unknown but sometime this fall.

Loki, season 2. Unknown release date.

I’m currently watching or just finished What We Do in the Shadows, Harley Quinn, season three of Titans, Tales from the Walking Dead, and She-Hulk. I’m hoping for more seasons for the Orville and Young Justice but the fate of both of those shows are up in the air. I’m looking forward to the final season of Stranger Things.

There are also multiple Marvel and Star Wars shows coming out this year and next on Disney+. Werewolf by Night premieres in October which is a pretty obscure character. Secret Invasion is coming out in February of 2023 and that one looks really dark and serious so I’m looking forward to it. I’m also looking forward to the new Willow series since I loved the original movie.

I still need to watch season two of The Witcher as well as starting Doom Patrol, Umbrella Academy, and several other shows that I want to watch on various streaming services. So I’m fine with there being less network shows to watch. It makes things easier in the long run.
