(no subject)
I woke up with my neck aching. It was really hard to bend my neck any directions except straight back. =X I was using a Kairo heat pack during the times when I wasn't in class. Seems to be helping a little, but ouch...
Today, some 3rd years were playing rough around lunchtime, and I think one of the boys leaned a little too far back into a window because they came down to the teachers' room with a pan full of glass shards. Whoa.
Today was the observation class, and my class was 1B. I felt like I was teaching an elementary school class. XD; We did picture name recognition and then played ABC karuta. But I'm sure all the mothers that were standing in the back of the classroom (who did not move on to other classrooms, lol) learned some new words. =P

I think some of the 2nd year boys are warming up to me, especially the three that I have been doing hall cleaning with. One of them is a younger brother of a boy in 3A from last year. They've been confirming with me about what I've been saying in my mini-speeches. Especially the spider one. LOL.
Looks like I got a better response from 2B today when I did my mini-speech because I made it about the "Nabari no Ou"/New Horizon textbook connection. I'm sure their ears perked up at the mention of anime, hahaha!
And I ended up getting asked if I knew "Sekai no Nabeatsu"... I don't, and I couldn't even make out what they were asking me. XD;; Apparently, it's a show or comedian or something?

I also saw Takumi and Yoshinori (former 3B) today at the crosswalk by Timely. Their uniform is still gakuran, so they still look like they're going to school at Miyama. XD;

Lastly, while I was reading the news on the BBC website, I got a visitor. Whoa. Someone asking for me is extremely rare, so I went outside and met who I found out was Moe's (3B) grandmother. O_O She asked me if I'd be okay with doing English conversation with some people once a month. She said they could pay me 5,000 yen for 2 hours. She'll get back to me on the date later on, like next month. It'd only be 3 times, though, since I'm going back in August.
Her English was pretty clear, maybe a little slow though. Now I can see where Moe gets her good English pronunciation from.
