So instead of writing my response paper on "The Wife of Bath" from The Canterbury Tales, I've chosen to write about two poems of seduction: "The Flea" by John Donne and "To His Coy Mistress" by Andrew Marvell. Note: I didn't chose these; they're given in the prompt. One and a half hours of writing results in one and a half pages of text. Hahah.
Given the prompt, it's hard to find words to express things in a more dignified and formal manner. (What we write about might ultimately be what we expand into a larger essay for our big papers.)
Soon as I finish, I'm going to sleep.
(I can never look at "quaint" the same way again, all thanks to The Canterbury Tales...) D=
