Relocating soon
Mom and Jim signed the papers for the townhouse down in Irvine today, after they did the walkthrough inspection. The only thing that remains to be done is for escrow to be completely closed, when it delivers the money to the seller, latest by Monday.
That said, I'll be moving!
Well, actually, we'll still have the house up here in LA until Mom finds work down in OC, but that will still be a while. So, Jim and I will be making the move first. The LA place will ultimately become a rental property (again). But while we've got this place, I'll be able to come up here on weekends, I think. Not sure how it'll all turn out after summer yet, since I'll be up in Seattle for the summer.
If I recall correctly, I haven't mentioned anything about getting this place in Irvine before because we wanted to make sure it went through first. It's just about completed, so now's a good time as any. =)
I won't work on moving stuff until after finals. But moving and working on cosplay for Fanime (yes, caved and will cosplay, lol..) at the same time will not be fun... Luckily, I don't have to sew any complete outfits.
Somehow, I went from not knowing what this summer will bring to have a REALLY BUSY summer.
