Of the checklist I made yesterday, I only ended up going down to WLS to turn in docs and went to the Kinokuniya in Costa Mesa (on a whim) and found those dessert towel things (towel cakes, etc. by Patissier). That place is definitely better stocked in terms of updated goods and books compared to the one in Downtown LA, and it's not as cramped. I was just disappointed with the pico de gallo that wasn't fresh at all at the nearby Baja Fresh.

This morning, I just happened to catch Shiaさん's tweet saying that she had a Ustream broadcast (配信/はいしん), in which she was coloring one of her DRRR sketches that she had previously upped on Twitpic. At one point, she had over 100+ viewers, even though it was approximately 2am in Japan.
Then this one troll from Alabama (anon user 99860) came in... I still get pissed off thinking about it. This user clearly understood Japanese, both in reading and writing, but sometimes seemed like they didn't. They didn't know who Shiaさん was at all, kept asking the same questions, would repeat questions in CAPSLOCK when they weren't replied to.. all the Japanese watchers laughed at this ignorant, sexist, and UNBELIEVABLY ANNOYING person. Not laughing at this troll derisively, but by finding the troll entertaining. I know there were some other foreigners (like from other parts of Asia) that also knew English watching Shiaさん's broadcast, but this freaking troll just... OTL No respect for Shiaさん. Called the Izaya that she was drawing a girl, called Shiaさん a guy, and so on...
(Still, I did some translating both ways a little bit, just so some sentences were clearer.)
What I wouldn't give to kick that troll (presumably male) a swift one.
