Not really sure what made me do it, but read from chapter 249 to current? (486) of Naruto from the span of Monday to now during the time I'm not doing things. ^^; I wonder if the manga will end by 500?
Haven't touched this manga at all since I stopped reading at 249, when that chapter first came out... which year was it? During junior year? senior year? of college.
I wonder if I should catch up on Bleach as well, just for the sake of it. I don't exactly remember where I left off though. Maybe around the appearance of the guy with the bowl-hair cut?
This weekend, one of the manga I bought was Bakuman v.7. I think after reading some of that, I was able to see some of the things they were discussing in Bakuman and how it applied to shounen series such as Naruto.

Mom just told me that this year will be my grandmother's 80th birthday, so her side of the family had better do something to celebrate it, or else. Oh boy. They're looking to do it either late July to early August or mid-August to late August (about 10 days). These windows are the only times my two younger cousins in San Francisco would be available.
This may or may not throw a kink in my plans to see Yoshi if he's coming back in town for some events for work. Hm. =| And as of right now, I can see that I wouldn't even have enough vacation time accrued by those dates to even request 10 days off. Mom asks if I can use non-paid leave again, but I'm not sure since it's not addressed in the Employee Handbook.
The choices are either taking a cruise or going up to Toronto, Canada. Last time, we drove up to Vancouver for a big family trip. So I guess this time, they want to do Toronto. If I could pick, I'd go with the Canada trip, just because if I ran out of vacation days and couldn't use leave without pay, then at least I'd be able to fly back and resume going to work.
Only thing is, I don't know when Yoshi might be visiting...
Well, not much I can do about it at the time, except work and accrue vacation time. ^^; And find out definite dates as they become available.

Oh, and law school applications.
They're not as bad as I thought. I just don't like the LSATs. The application itself is way easier than applying to college ever was (when I was applying to college; I'm pretty sure it's much more electronic and simpler now...).
I sent in my application for Whittier's priority deadline (final deadline is in July) already. Just have 4 more to apply to: Chapman, Western State, La Verne, and Southwestern
