“No.” Patrick shook his head, determined. “Repeat with me, Maja. Everything is perfectly fine.”

“Hey, is everything okay?” Pete stood a few feet behind Haley, who had stopped in the hall, right in front of the stairs.
“What d’you think?” Haley sighed, but her tone wasn’t as bitter as Pete had expected. “I just need time to work this out.”
“Would it help if you didn’t have to live with Joe?” Pete studied her reaction, worried.
“Yeah, I think it would.” Haley arched an eyebrow, perplexed. “Why?”
“The rift widened considerably a few miles out of town, Butch’s guys need help and I’m sending someone.” Pete explained, nodding slowly. “Possibly volunteers.”
“Count me in.” Haley replied without hesitation, her eyes meeting Pete’s. “Who else is coming?”
“Dirnt and Travis.” Pete nodded slowly. “Are you sure about this?”
“It’ll help me think.” Haley showed Pete a little smile. “And it’ll solve your name problem.”
“Oh, you heard about it?” Pete scratched the back of his neck, slightly embarrassed.
“Yeah, I did.” Haley’s smile widened a bit. “Haley and Hayley. It must be fate or something.”
“That’s why we should call Hayley the ‘Crazy Bitch’.” Pete shrugged, smirking a little. “It’s practical.”
“No, you just wanna annoy Butch.” Haley chuckled and shook her head. “And I don’t think Maja likes that either.”
“I know.” Pete admitted with a little sigh. “Well, unless you suddenly go Dark Side, we shouldn’t have any problem with this.”
“I’m not gonna go Dark Side.” Haley confirmed, laughing.
“Good.” Pete grinned too, standing in front of the girl. “Be careful out there. Joe might be a jerk for not telling you about Chris, but he loves you.” Pete squeezed her shoulder with a hand. “And we all want you back in one piece.”
“I’ll try.” Haley smiled softly and nodded. “When are we leaving?”
“Tonight, get your stuff ready.” Pete let her go and the girl turned towards the stairs. “Good luck.”
“Thanks.” Haley started to walk upstairs and Pete watched her, biting on his lower lip.
A few seconds later someone walked behind him and he turned, surprised to see Keltie standing there with a little smile.
“Thanks for caring about us.” Keltie looked directly in Pete’s eyes as she spoke.
“You’re part of the family.” Pete mirrored the smile, not breaking eye contact. “And trust me, you make it really easy for us to love you.” He paused for a second, then let out a soft laughter. “Besides, I have a very strong sense of fatherhood.”
“This explains a lot of things.” Keltie laughed as well, punching Pete on the arm, playful. “Then I guess I can call you if I need someone to read me Little Red Riding Hood before bed.”
“No, the kinky foreplay is Tré’s territory.” Pete smirked at the light blush on the girl’s face.
“Jeez, no wonder your guys live on sex.” Keltie laughed again, and Pete shook his head. “You’re a pervert.”
“Let’s go back.” Pete smiled and put his arm on Keltie’s shoulders.

One day later
“Mike and Cassie should be here any minute.” William sat down on the edge of the bed, stretching his back. He had spent a couple of hours in the training room, along with Jon and Bryce, and he needed to relax his muscles.
“You told him what’s going on?” Gabe kneeled behind him, his hands immediately resting on William’s shoulders.
“Yeah, and I told him this is the safest place for them and the baby.” William closed his eyes and melted under Gabe’s slow massage.
“Good.” Gabe placed a kiss on William’s neck, where the bite mark was fading. It had been barely a week since all the mess had started, but it felt like a month had passed. “How did the training go?”
“Bryce wasn’t really convinced about it, but I think he changed his mind.” William smiled when he felt Gabe’s lips on the sensitive skin of the bite mark.
“Of course.” Gabe smirked, placing another kiss in the same spot. “As long as you’ll be his trainer he’ll be more than happy.”
“Gabe.” William opened his eyes and turned enough to look at Gabe.
“I’m kidding.” Gabe immediately said, grinning. “Just, don’t let him touch you in inappropriate places.”
“Gabe!” William repeated, laughing. “He’s not Mikey.”
“Did you let Mikey touch you in inappropriate places?” Gabe arched an eyebrow, perplexed.
“Not recently.” William laughed again and Gabe pinched his side. “Ouch, mean.”
“Seriously, though, I haven’t talked to him yet.” Gabe rested his chin on William’s shoulder and sighed.
“He’s different.” William leaned back against the vampire, his smile gone. “I mean, he’s the same old Mikey who likes to piss people off just for fun, but he’s… he shows more of himself than he’s ever done.”
“Death is one of those things that change a guy’s views on life.” Gabe admitted with a little smile. “And I think he accepted Gerard’s death way before it happened.”
“I know.” William sighed, feeling a little better knowing that Mikey definitely wasn’t an off-limits topic for him and Gabe. “Let’s hope he and Bryce won’t kill each other.”
“Well, now that Dirnt is gone for a while with Travis and Haley, maybe Mikey will claim the free room.” Gabe suggested, grinning. “Unless they’re already having sex.” William arched an eyebrow at that and Gabe laughed. “I’m just kidding, I think Bryce knows better than getting involved with Mikey.”
“The possibility of that actually scares me.” William snickered and slowly broke the embrace. “But sex is sex for Mikey, I wouldn’t be too surprised.”
“They would write, like, ‘William Beckett broke our hearts and now we shag each other’ on t-shirts and wear them.” Gabe laughed too, but stopped when William slapped him playfully on the head.
“Bryce has a little crush, I totally didn’t break his heart.” William protested, pouting. “I’m sure he already got over it.”
“Sure, by shagging Mikey.” Gabe repeated and dodged another slap.
“You sure? Because from what I heard, I’m quite positive there could actually be something between Tom and Mikey.” William grinned at the surprise on Gabe’s face. “Mikey is Tom’s Sire.”
“Well, now I’m scared too.” Gabe shook his head, unbelieving.
Before William could say anything, someone knocked on the door. “Mike, Cassie and the baby are here.” Maja informed from outside.
“We’ll be downstairs in a minute.” William replied, offering his hand to Gabe. The vampire took it and placed a kiss on the knuckles, then stood from the bed with a smile.
~~
Bryce had left the training room a few minutes before and he had taken a long shower, easing the tension from his muscle. He’d taken a few karate lessons in the past, but he wasn’t nearly at the same level as William or Jon.
He smiled to himself as he put his clothes on and exited the bathroom; despite the mess they were in, William had looked so much happier than the previous weeks. Bryce knew it was mainly because things with Gabe were okay again, and also partly because of Mikey’s presence. Oddly enough, the thing made him feel better, not worse, and Bryce took it as a good sign.
As soon as he reached his room and opened the door, he stepped in and closed it as quietly as he could. Mikey was lying on the bed, apparently asleep, and Bryce tiptoed inside the room, silent. For a few seconds he just watched the vampire, fascinated.
Mikey was a mystery to him, he’d found himself watching him more often than he wanted to, he couldn’t help it. Everyone in the house was conflicted about his return and from what Patrick had told him, his presence had used to have the same effect before his death. But apparently things had changed a little after Mikey had sacrificed himself, people started to admit that maybe there was some good left in him.
Patrick had also warned him about the fact that Mikey didn’t like werewolves. Like, at all. Apparently, though, Patrick was an exception, and Bryce smiled to himself when he realized he hoped he was one too. Only, he was not, and he kept wondering why Mikey hadn’t moved in Tom’s room, since they obviously knew each other quite well.
“You’re starting to creep me out, doggie.” Mikey muttered with a half grin, then opened his eyes.
“Sorry.” Bryce blushed and looked away, visibly embarrassed. “I just-- Sorry.”
“I mean, okay, I’m too hot for my own good.” Mikey grinned and sat up, eyes never leaving Bryce. “But the staring was really getting creepy.”
“I know that having to share with me is pretty annoying for you.” Bryce admitted with a little smile, but didn’t look at the vampire. “I’m gonna move to Dirnt’s room while he’s away.”
“Bill’s right, you’re cute.” Mikey chuckled, not moving from his spot on the bed. “Not that I needed Bill’s opinion to notice.”
Bryce blushed again and walked to the wardrobe, determined to get his stuff. He didn’t realize Mikey had moved until he felt the vampire’s hand on his side. “If I didn’t want to share with you, I’d be rooming with Tom.”
“I thought you-- I mean, I’m a werewolf-- You don’t--” Bryce closed his mouth when he felt Mikey’s cold hand slide from his side to his stomach. “Mikey, what are you doing?”
“I’m playing.” Mikey whispered to his ear, grinning. “You can tell me to stop.” He added before placing a kiss on the side of Bryce’s neck.
“Is this a game?” Bryce let out a shaky breath, but he didn’t move away.
“It’s for fun.” Mikey brought his other hand to Bryce’s side and slowly pulled him closer. “No strings attached.”
“I’ve been warned you’re quite keen on the whole friends-with-benefits kind of relationship.” Bryce whispered and let a little smile curve his lips.
“You never know how those things end.” Mikey moved one of his hands lower, just above the waistband of Bryce’s jeans. “So, what d’you say?”
“I’m just another notch in your bedpost.” It wasn’t a question, and Bryce regretted saying it when he felt Mikey’s tense slightly against his back.
“It’s all I can give for now.” Mikey whispered moving his hand away from Bryce’s pants. “If you want something more, you picked the wrong week, kid.”
“I don’t know if I want something more from you.” Bryce admitted with a little smile. “We never even really talked.”
“I’m not against talking.” Mikey smiled at that and felt Bryce relax in his arms.
“You just can’t survive without sex, can you?” Bryce actually laughed, surprising Mikey.
“Why d’you think Pete turned me?” Mikey arched an eyebrow, still smirking.
“I don’t think I want details about you and Pete, though.” Bryce leaned back against Mikey, wondering if he was about to do something really stupid. “Mikey.” The vampire didn’t move and waited for him to continue. “I’m not William.”
“I don’t want you to be.” Mikey whispered, and moved his hands to Bryce hips. “You know, the whole concept of new start implies letting go of the past.”
“Then I guess I ran out of objections.” Bryce admitted with a smile and he turned around easily when Mikey tugged at his hips.
“You’re just as easy as I thought.” Mikey grinned widely and Bryce slapped him on the arm. “Get used to it, I tend to be mean.”
“I think I’m gonna change my mind about this.” Bryce muttered, but smirked when Mikey’s hands moved lower.
“Too late.” Mikey walked them towards the bed until it hit the back of Bryce’s legs. “Besides, you want this.”
“Really?” Bryce blushed as he fell back on the bed, while Mikey stood in front of him.
“D’you think this is the first time I catch you watching?” Mikey put his hands on Bryce’s knees, smirking. “I don’t usually molest people unless I’m sure they’re okay with it.”
“That’s very noble.” Bryce tried to sound sarcastic, but he blushed again when Mikey spread his legs apart.
“Relax, doggie.” Mikey climbed on the bed as well, straddling Bryce’s waist.
“Don’t call me that.” Bryce moved his gaze away and Mikey slowly leaned down. “I’m not a dog.”
“Good for me.” Mikey blew cold air in Bryce’s ear, forcing him to turn his face towards him again. “Or this would be really really disgusting.” Mikey grinned again, then licked Bryce’s lower lip.
“You have the worst sweet talk ever.” Bryce’s laughter died when Mikey kissed him a second later, and the werewolf forgot why he thought it was a bad idea in the first place.
~~
Later that night
“Tom, are you okay?” William cocked an eyebrow as he saw his friend walk in the library.
“We need soundproof rooms.” Tom snapped, almost growling. “I’ve been blessed with the sweet sounds Bryce makes when he’s getting fucked.”
“Ah! I knew it!” Gabe beamed, slamming his hand on the table and causing Hemingway to wake up.
“And why the fuck are you so happy about it?” Tom glared at the vampire, angry.
“Tom, are you jealous?” William asked with a shocked smile. When Tom didn’t reply and just glared some more, William laughed. “You totally are.”
“I wouldn’t put it past Mikey to shag you both. Maybe even at the same time.” Gabe grinned, gaining weird looks from Jon and Ryan.
“I’m not jealous.” Tom muttered, not looking at William. “But I’d feel better if I didn’t have to hear them.”
“I’ll tell Mikey to keep it low.” William shook his head, amused.
“While you’re at it, tell him to stop banging that little slut.” Tom snapped, his tone bitter and hateful.
William was about to say something, but he saw Bryce standing on the doorstep and froze. It was the first time Bryce came downstairs in his human form, and William wanted to slap himself and Tom. Gabe saw the werewolf too and his smile vanished.
“Bryce--” William started, but the boy shook his head and watched as Tom turned.
“Don’t worry, that little slut will get out of your way.” Bryce whispered, his eyes filled with hurt and rage. “Thanks for saying it to my face, anyway.”
“Bryce, wait.” William started to follow the werewolf, but Bryce turned into wolf and ran upstairs. A couple of seconds later Mikey started to walk downstairs, perplexed.
“What happened?” Mikey arched an eyebrow at the guilty expression on William’s face. “What did you tell him?”
“Nothing.” William hesitated, biting on his lower lip. “Tom said stuff and Bryce heard.”
“Define ‘stuff’.” Mikey glared, quickly heading for the library.
“He kind of insulted Bryce. Heavily.” William flinched at his own words and felt Mikey’s rage even from a couple of steps behind. “He’s pissed because you slept with Bryce.”
“Tom.” Mikey glared at his Childe as soon as he entered the library. “What the fuck did you do?”
“Go back to your new slut.” Tom snapped, glaring back. “I thought this bond meant something to you.”
“I turned you for a specific reason, sex was just a side effect.” Mikey shook his head, unbelieving. Both Jon and Ryan followed the exchange with a frown, worried.
“Right, you just needed me to keep Brent under control.” Tom chuckled unhappily and kept looking at his Sire.
“Maybe you should have this conversation in private.” Gabe suggested with a nod towards the door.
“We don’t need to.” Mikey took a deep breath, his expression hardening. “This conversation ends here.”
“Thanks for finally making clear you don’t give a fuck about me.” Tom headed towards the door, furious, and Mikey didn’t look at him.
“Mikey--” William started, but Mikey raised a hand and stopped him.
“I’ll go talk to Bryce. I think he deserves an apology.” Mikey informed as he turned, surprising the group.
“Make up sex doesn’t count as an apology.” Gabe reminded him with a smirk, and Mikey just flipped him off.

Cassie entered the quiet dining room next to the kitchen. They rarely used it, since the kitchen was big enough for them all to fit in, so it was one of the most quiet places in the house. With a smile she sat on one of the chairs, holding Patricia close as the baby slept peacefully.
She barely had the time to wonder how long the silence was gonna last, then someone entered the room as well.
“Sorry, I’ll just--” Greta gestured towards the door with her free hand, while the other held a sleeping Chris against her chest. “I’ll go somewhere else.”
“No, stay.” Cassie smiled at the girl, nodding towards one of the chairs. “Quiet places in this house are a rarity.”
“I noticed.” Greta admitted with a soft laughter. “Thanks.” She added as she sat down next to Cassie.
“We could turn this into a nursery.” Cassie proposed, keeping her voice low.
“It’s not a bad idea, you know?” Greta smiled at the other girl. “So, how is it going?”
“I’m horrible at this.” Cassie admitted with a little chuckle. “I never know why she’s crying and what to do about it. I think a stone would have more maternal instinct than I do.”
“Don’t say that.” Greta shook her head, looking at Cassie in the eye. “It’s not easy at first, you just have to give it time.”
“I’m not gonna give up for sure.” Cassie said softly, then a slow smirk curved her lips. “I’m lucky Mike’s so good with her.”
“He looks like a good guy.” Greta confirmed, moving her eyes to Chris’ face.
“I’m sorry for what happened with Haley and Joe.” Cassie showed an apologetic smile. “I just wanted to tell you that we know you’re not the one to blame. You’re welcome here.”
“Thanks, that means a lot.” Greta was genuinely surprised to hear that and immediately smiled back.
“Still, we’re gonna give Joe hell for this.” Cassie shook her head and chuckled. “His ass is gonna feel so sorry.”
“You kind of scare me, you know?” Greta laughed, immediately joined by Cassie. For a few seconds there was a comfortable silence, then Greta turned her head to look at Cassie again. “Hey, if you need, you know, help or advice with Patricia… I’m here.”
“Thanks.” Cassie nodded slowly, a wide smile stretching her lips.
Greta was about to say something else, but the alarms went off and both Patricia and Chris woke up. Greta covered her son’s ears immediately, while Patricia started to cry, and Cassie tried to make her stop, rocking her gently.
Jack reached the doorstep and sighed in relief. “C’mon girls, with me.”
“What?” Cassie asked with a frown as she held Patricia closer.
“I’m in charge of your protection in case of attack, so move your pretty asses and follow me.” Jack announced with a smile, then took out a gun.
“I like your brother.” Cassie addressed Greta a smirk and they both followed Jack towards the room he shared with Butch.
~
Pete saw Jack, Cassie and Greta head for the room and took out his gun. It was slightly annoying that every time someone visited them the alarms went off, but they couldn’t afford letting the guard down.
William, Gabe, Ryan and Jon joined him from the library, and Patrick quickly walked downstairs, taking his gun as well. Thankfully, the visitor rang the doorbell, which was always a good sign since bad guys didn’t usually do that, but everyone kept the guns ready anyway.
Pete opened the door and blinked, surprised. “You?”
“If I were Hayley Williams, you’d be dead by now.” A blond girl commented from the doorstep, shaking her head. “You should totally do something about the security system.”
“What are you doing here?” Pete frowned, not completely convinced.
“I’ve heard my boy finally settled down.” The vampire smirked and took a step inside without waiting for Pete’s invitation. “Hi, Gabe.”
“Bianca?” Gabe smiled widely as soon as he saw the girl and reached her quickly.
“Hey, love looks good on you, cariño, you’re shining.” Bianca pulled the vampire in a tight hug, smiling as well. “So, who’s the lucky kid?”
“Bianca, this is William.” Gabe announced, gesturing towards the boy, who had been watching the scene with a frown. “Bill, she’s Bianca, my Sire.”
“Your--” William’s eyes widened as soon as he heard those words and Pete shook his head, closing the door. “Wow.”
“See? That’s the kind of reaction I like to get.” Bianca saw the little embarrassed smile spread on William’s lips and took a step towards him. “I already like you.”
“The thing is reciprocated.” William assured as his smile widened. “Like, totally.”
“Good. Then I think we should have a nice chat.” Bianca noticed Jon and Ryan standing a few feet behind, near the stairs. “Nice to meet you too… uh, unknown population of the Wentz Manor.”
“Those are Jon Walker and Ryan Ross.” Gabe explained with a smile. “They’re good guys.”
“I’m sure I’ll have the time to meet everyone, since I’m not gonna leave until this mess is over.” Bianca turned to look at Patrick and smiled. “And unless you don’t want my help.” She added at the werewolf’s curious expression.
“You’re more than welcome.” Patrick smiled, then turned to look at Pete. “Isn’t she, Pete?”
“Sure.” Pete nodded and smirked, sincerely grateful for the unexpected help.
“Oh, and Pete, just so you know, Ashlee is coming here too.” Bianca informed with a grin, tilting her head to the side.
“Shit.” Pete’s smile vanished at that, and Patrick’s followed quickly.
“Who’s Ashlee?” Ryan asked with a frown, taking a few steps towards the group.
“Pete’s Sire, of course.”

A/N: I know, there was supposed to be a NC-17 scene. But since I am a complete douche, last time I confused chapter 10 and 11. LOL So yeah, the NC-17 will be in next chapter and this time for real. LOL
Meanwhile, we have a new character. *giggles* And no, she’s not part of a band, Bianca is Gabe’s girlfriend in real life and she looks so amazingly awesome I felt the need to involve her in the story.
Well, see you next Sunday, then! Let me know what you think about this. :D
JM. <333
PS: keep your eyes open, there might be another surprise this week, but not what you expect. *grins*
