Summary: The twins are finally here! New daddies Yoochun and Junsu are balancing work, school, and life in general, and at the same time trying to raise their girls as best they can. With house-mates Jaejoong and Changmin there to help, as well as anyone who comes through the front door (and that means anyone), they should have no problem. But as they already know, life is full of little surprises.

Episode 3
Jaejoong and Changmin entered the pet store, each carrying one of the twins.
"This is a bad idea." Changmin said, gently pulling MiYoon's hand away from his glasses.
"No, it's not. Every kid should grow up with a pet!" Jaejoong insisted. "Remember Mister Barkers?"
"You mean that crazy rat dog that bit me and ran away?"
"...Maybe."
"I have no memory of such Barkers. I think I repressed it or something."
"And now you're a bitter 19-year-old ahjusshi, so I've proven my point."
"Whatever. I'm still allergic!" Changmin pointed out.
"You're only home on weekends anyway. Besides, we don't have to get a dog. We can get something else!"
"Good morning!" A cheerful employee greeted them. "My name is Siwon. Can I help you?"
"Yes. We're looking for a pet." Jaejoong told him. Changmin shot his brother a 'no-duh' look.
"Then you've come to the right place! Right this way." Siwon began walking through the store while the boys followed. "Maybe you'd be interested in something from the reptile department."
Changmin gulped and stepped back as a large boa constrictor in a tank turned to look at him.
"Ooh!"
"Ahh! What happened?!" he nearly shrieked, hugging MiYoon. She blew a raspberry at his face.
"Aww, come look at the turtles!" Jaejoong was sitting with MiRae in his lap, staring at a tank full of turtles. Siwon took one of the smaller ones out and handed it to MiRae. She giggled and looked at it for a second, then tried to pull its head out of the shell. Jaejoong took it from her and put it back in the tank.
"Maybe not a turtle..." he said to Siwon.
"Okay! Then how about fish?" The boys followed him over to a wall covered in fishtanks filled with fish of all colors and species.
"Fish are nice." Jaejoong said. "What do you think, Changmin?"
"I say we get them some sea monkeys and be done with it."
Jaejoong rolled his eyes. "What do you think, girls?" The twins looked at the fish for a second, then turned away and buried their faces in the boys' shoulders.
"I guess they're afraid of fish." Changmin said.
"They're only 3 months old, how can they be afraid of fish already?" Jaejoong asked. "Have they ever even seen fish before?"
"That fish stew you made the other day was kind of scary." Changmin grumbled under his breath.
Jaejoong gasped, offended. "I'll have you know Yoochun and Junsu loved that stew! And anyway, the girls were asleep when we had that, so it must be something else."
While the boys argued, something caught MiYoon's eye. She reached for it, but it was too far away. She tried to pull Changmin's ponytail to get his attention. He shifted her over to his other arm and continued arguing with Jaejoong. She waved her hand at MiRae, who looked up at what her sister was was reaching for. MiRae babbled and made baby noises at Jaejoong, but he didn't notice. Finally, they did the only thing they could think of.
"Whaaaa!"
Jaejoong and Changmin stopped arguing.
"What happened?"
"I don't know!" Changmin rocked MiYoon back and forth, while Jaejoong lifted MiRae into the air and listened to her stomach.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Changmin yelled at him.
"Trying to figure out why they're crying! What are you doing?"
"Trying to figure out how you got so stupid!"
"I'm not stupid! You're stupid!"
"You're stupid!"
"YOU'RE STUPID!"
"GUYS!" Siwon yelled from the other side of the store. He was holding something small and furry. "I think this was what they wanted." He held a small reddish-brown hamster up to MiYoon. She sniffled and wiped her eyes. The hamster wiggled its nose at her. She touched its head and smiled.
"Hamsters are cool." Changmin said. "We should get one for each of them, though." Jaejoong nodded. They decided to buy the brown one for MiYoon, and a black and white one for MiRae.
"What should we name them?" Jaejoong wondered out loud.
"Pinky and the Brain!" Changmin said, grinning.
"No."
"Why not?!"
"They're not mice!"
"Fine." Changmin sighed. They shouted names back and forth at each other as they loaded the girls and the hamsters into the car. Siwon stood in the doorway waving, thanking the good Lord he didn't have siblings. Or kids.
