So, as happens on the Internet, a "Cats vs. Dogs" debate came up, skewing in the "cats drool and dogs rule" direction. Intellectually, I realize that dogs, on the whole, have a higher capacity for intelligent behaviour than cats, on the whole, but it became grating when cats became a target in the sense of not being as "useful" as dogs ( Read more... )

The whole "rushing to get out the door and home in time to see Chars off but arriving to an empty apartment anyway" thing is coming back, even if there are gerbilfaces now [asleep at the moment]. I cleaned out the babies' rooms today and, since Charles got up and wanted the windows open, I got a good look at Jade Knight in the sun--she's gotten terribly white :| If you've seen their pictures, Jade Knight was a touch golden all over, where Lord British is brown.
