Black Friday turned out to be very. To start the day on a perfect note, Charles had his car towed by the Apartment Nazis because they tore up all the Visitor parking and he was forced into Resident parking, under the false security that no one parks there, so they won't bother to tow anyone. Nope, they're anal-retentive about screwing things up for someone else, especially if it means more money for them [$50/month extra for a parking decal for his car].

I actually had a headache most of the day, but it was exceptionally slight compared to the towing fiasco.

Otherwise, it was pretty much how you might expect BF to go... we hit four malls, actually, and fought parking at each one except Lakeforest [because it was getting on toward closing time], and each of us spent in excess of $100 on gifts for everyone. I believe... $30 of it was actually for stuff for me: the final installment of Peach Girl [beautiful!], a couple of Petpet plushies, and lunch. Everything else is predominantly unplanned gift purchases [no, I didn't know in advance what to get anyone].

It's still not everyone, either--pretty much "immediate family"--but I don't know who else I should buy for and how much I could afford.

We actually managed to find SNS2 ["Castle Shikigami 2"] at Lakeforest, though there was only the display copy left. Yes, it IS out... just damn hard to find. [At $9.99, why not?]

In the morning, we're taking a look in Hagerstown at Mum's insistence. Rent is perhaps half what we're paying now for a bigger place, but the commute would be an hour, in crap traffic... we'll look, anyway, though we'll look harder come Jan.-Feb. towards when our lease expires.

movey, shoppy, sicky, bullshit
