Other noteworthy event for the record:
Last night before work, I got pulled over... again... with some patrol buddies arriving in tow to make an even bigger scene out of it.
However! I was let off with a warning this time, rather than being given the $140 ticket for speeding. I certainly hope it's the last time [...that I get pulled over, not get a warning instead of a fine].
It does make me wonder why I got the warning, though. Was something bigger going down? Did he just feel generous? Certainly had I slipped into the correct gear [D3 instead of Neutral], I wouldn't have gotten pulled over in the first place, because I would've been going slower at that point, but I'd gotten too used to driving in the same manner to get to work--something I'll need to change. It's simply that I've never gotten a warning before, always the full punishment.
I'd like to continue avoiding the full punishment, though... meaning I now have to leave even EARLIER to go to work! Argh!
Speaking of work, either Wednesday or Thursday--they seem awfully vague on which day--was 1193's [Target Gaithersburg's] 5th year anniversary of being in business. They invited me to come off the clock to the party, but you know what? I really don't want to go to work if I don't have to go... particularly due to last night's events.
Charles says my co-workers are jealous of me because I have a life outside of work. Pfff... [maybe]
