Well, primarily I'm posting to vent a bit, as I've found it increasingly disappointing to [keep] hearing from one of my schoolmates [one person *might* still be reading this who can figure out who I mean] in an increasingly conservative light. That does kind of mean what you must think it means: grew up [seemingly] open and liberal, turned into a cranky old white dude.
I am not a parent by any stretch of the word, so maybe there's something I'm just not seeing, but the majority of comments from that person have been a bit like something My Racist Dad* would say. I believe I ended up throwing him in Acquaintances, with default posts set to Friends Except Acquaintances, but on that odd occasion when I feel like something is worth making Public and is slightly too sociopolitical, ol' Get Off My Lawn comes back. Makes me feel awful that I ever liked this person, but then... that's why I Got The Fuck Out of Tennessee =/

The Post Office tells me I'm going to get magazine forwarding stopped soon, which isn't soon enough--since we moved, I've been doing nothing BUT getting rid of magazines, it feels like <=p [Funny thing: We keep getting the prior tenants' mail, and it's all been junk mail for attorneys and driving schools.]
...okay, C just came back with a notice [I have not been outside today] that our apartment is ALREADY changing hands... We've been here like a month and a half! \=' Back to writing fucking checks COME ON IT'S 2014 YOU JERKS
