1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
paid off a car D= [though, proof pending]
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I ever make any, other than mid-year resolutions as they come up [currently: MOAR EXERCISES]
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Bent Fork [head of Onionbat] was the most recent, LITERALLY two days ago, but of course pocket_entropy/pholph =D
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Last of the jurburs =/ but I was expecting it for at least six months prior, so it was significantly less of a shock.

5. What countries did you visit?

For HURRR reasons:
20-12-2012: PAID OFF CAR

Christmas Eve: FINALLY got a notice from the temp agency that they fucked up and YES I CAN HAS real pay for job! D=
...feel a bit bad that the two "memorable" things were both in the last coupla weeks, but that's the kind of year it's been =/ Unless I REALLY want to count "3-9-2012: Unlocked all Achievements in Dust: An Elysian Tail" 9_9
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a job with real pay =p [also CAR]
9. What was your biggest failure?
I ended up quitting my daily drawing on account of being sick/fed up/feeling like I was missing out at the expense of chugging along... and as a result haven't really drawn in the last month-ish. I'm convinced, without some kind of intervention or re-analysis of how I do things, it'll stay that way for a while, but hopefully it's just the winter/post-sick slog...
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Sick since Thanksgiving, not sure if I'm actually better or the sick is just running at 1% =/
11. What was the best thing you bought?
As much as it makes me furrow my brow, has to be Manga Studio Debut for $5!
Honourable mention: the family exercise bike for FREE [operating quirks and all]
